Time is one of the most important, but also one of the most misunderstood things.
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years are a unit of measurement created by us human beings in order to control our daily routine. Time is actually just a collection of innumerable now moments which gradually lead us from the past, to the present, into the future, and the quality of our lives depends solely on how we exist in the present moment.
From a small age on, we humans were trained to invest our time in order to make a profit in the future. We go to school and study for a test to get a good grade, so we're taken to the next grade to get a good school diploma, so we can one day get a good job, become successful, earn good money, then be happy and enjoy life.
We then spend most of our lives waiting for something in the future, be it the end of our working day, the weekend, our vacation, we are waiting for a better job, graduation, the holidays, a promotion at work, we are waiting for friends, a party, we wait in line at the supermarket, wait for the bus, we wait and hope for a better life, without really living in the only important moment there is, the here and now.
Now is the time to dismantle all false indentity,
Now is the time to forget
that which has been learned
in deference of that which is deeply known.
Now begins the awesome process
of changing human history.
Now is the time for everything
and now is here.
